Waltz In A Minor piano tab by Chopin
This piece is often referred to as Chopin’s easiest waltz. It was first published nearly 100 years after his death. This is a note for note translation.
This song contains what traditional sheet music would describe as a pedal simile. This means the pedal should be pressed and released in the same manner for every measure. For the Waltz, this pattern is established in measure one and should be repeated for each measure that follows. Depress the pedal for the first beat of the measure and release the pedal on the second beat. Or, described in another manner, push the pedal down when the left hand pinky hits, and hold it down until the first chord hit. Release the pedal immediately after the first chord hit.
